Directions

The Museum is located at 100 E Main Street in downtown Ventura, across the street from Mission San Buenaventura. Free public parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Museum.

Coming from 101 Freeway heading North

Exit right on California Street (exit 70A), stay in the middle lane to go straight onto California Street. Take the 3rd left onto Main Street. Proceed 4 blocks. The Museum will be on the left past the Mission and park.

Coming from 101 Freeway heading South

Exit S. Ventura Avenue (exit 70A) towards Main Street. Follow the curve left passing under the freeway, and straight on to Ventura Avenue. Go 2 blocks and turn right on Main Street. Make the first right into the parking lot next to the Museum.

Directions to the Agriculture Museum

The Museum is located at 926 Railroad Avenue in downtown Santa Paula, next to the railroad tracks and across from the Train Depot. Free public parking is available in the gravel lot in front of the Museum.

Coming from Highway 126 heading West

Take exit 10th Street/Highway 150 (exit 12). Turn right onto 10th Street and continue 3 blocks, turn left on Railroad Avenue immediately after going over the railroad tracks.

Event Pavilion and Plaza

Unique indoor/outdoor venues located in the heart of the historic beach town of Ventura, across from the San Buenaventura Mission. Enjoy beaches, shopping, galleries, fine restaurants and hotels all within leisurely blocks, making the Pavilion and Plaza the perfect setting to create a truly memorable experience.

Martin V. and Martha K. Smith Pavilion

The newly constructed Pavilion is ideal for corporate seminars, academic lectures, receptions, weddings and other special events. This state of the art facility is equipped with an 18′ wide projector screen with PowerPoint capability, wireless microphones and zone-adjustable sound system. The Pavilion can accommodate 200 guests for a seated dinner, or 250 guests theater style.

Museum Plaza and Event Tent

Adjacent to the Pavilion is the Museum Plaza featuring mature palms, a beautiful water feature and gorgeous mosaics depicting the history of Ventura County. The Plaza is capable of holding an event tent and can seat an additional 140 guests.

The Pavilion and the Plaza may be rented together or separately. Adjacent guest parking is available.
