Episode 2—The Next Generation: With the unofficial title “The Father of Ventura County”, and a lifetime of hard work and success, it comes as no surprise that William Dewey Hobson’s children also earned notable positions in Ventura commerce and community. WD’s sons Abram Lincoln and William Arthur began their own successful paths in business in their teens.
The Hobsons, Hoffmans, and Smiths lifelong goals of community service, preserving and celebrating the past, and embracing the latest in modern technology to increase efficiency of business, served them, and the community well.
