Visit the Ag Museum’s beloved Pidduck Garden for our annual showcase of the thriving partnership between MVC and the Ventura County UC Master Gardener program. We welcome all visitors, whether you are a family with young children who like to get their hands dirty, a budding or seasoned home gardener, or just someone curious about how we grow food in this community. Come gather in the garden and discover something new!
This year we invite visitors to become Garden Guardians and discover ways to protect the balance of nature in your home garden. Enjoy Master Gardener-led tours of the Vegetable and California Native Gardens, a lecture on The Fascinating World of Insects in Your Garden by certified Master Gardener Laura Pasetta, recognition of our devoted Master Gardener volunteer team, a presentation on square-foot gardening by the new Master Gardener trainee class, and other fun educational activities based on MVC’s Garden Guardians curriculum.

Museum of Ventura County in Downtown Ventura is temporarily closed as we install new exhibitions. We look forward to welcoming you back on June 5.
