Five Days of Adventure and Discovery
July 13 – 17, 2026

Chumash Summer Camp explores our local history in a fun and welcoming way. Each day blends play and creativity through traditional Chumash games, storytelling, art activities, and exploration of native plants. Campers will take home their own handcrafted projects inspired by Chumash teachings and culture. Guided by Chumash leaders and Museum educators, the camp sparks curiosity and encourages compassion through meaningful, hands-on experiences.
Age at least 8 years but less than 13 years.

The Museum of Ventura County and the Albinger Archaeological Museum will be closed on Saturday, July 4.
Before and after July 4, all Museum locations will be open during their regular hours.
Have a safe and happy Independence Day!
