This Albinger Archaeological Museum is located next to Mission San Buenaventura and was once the home to five different cultures spanning 3,500 years. Learn about the Chumash, Spanish, Mexican, Chinese, and American cultures who all at one time occupied this space.

Named after Ventura Mayor (1969-1973) Albert R. Albinger, the Albinger Archeological Museum is located on the site of saloon keeper and early mayor Angel Escondon.
