“Story Time at the Museum” returns! Join us on Facebook and YouTube every other Sunday at 10am from May 9, 2021 thru July 18, 2021 for “Story Time at the Museum,” where a community member, museum docent or staff member reads a children’s book or shares a children’s story.

Gather your family around the computer and tune-in to Facebook and YouTube this Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 10am for “Story Time at the Museum!” Local author Amada Irma Perez will be reading one of her own wonderfully written and illustrated books, “Nana’s Big Surprise.”

Nana’s visit from Mexico should be a joyous occasion. But this summer she’s coming to California because Tata has died. Amada and her five brothers hope to cheer her up with a surprise gift of a coop full of fluffy yellow chicks just like the ones Nana raised with Tata in Mexico. But no matter how hard everyone tries to make Nana feel better, it seems like nothing can bring a smile to her face. That is, until one day the chicks reveal a little surprise of their own.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 20, 2021 @ 10am and tune-in for another episode of “Story Time at the Museum” with Cheryl Engel reading “Sadie the Kitchen Dog.”
