“Story Time at the Museum” returns! Join us on Facebook and YouTube every other Sunday at 10am from May 9, 2021 thru July 18, 2021 for “Story Time at the Museum,” where a community member, museum docent or staff member reads a children’s book or shares a children’s story.

Gather your family around the computer and tune-in to Facebook and YouTube this Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 10am for “Story Time at the Museum!” Rock ‘n roll legend Chris Hillman of The Byrds and The Flying Burrito Brothers will be reading a book that he’s read to his children and grandchildren — “The Adventures of Taxi Dog” by Debra and Sal Barracca!

Maxi, a homeless mutt in New York City, has always fended for himself. Then one day a kind taxi driver named Jim offers him friendship, a home, and a place in the front seat! From that moment on, Maxi and Jim revel in the sights and sounds of the city, and share all sorts of wild adventures-from rushing two clowns and a chimp to the circus, to singing duets with an opera diva! These and other adventures are brilliantly depicted in Mark Buehner’s witty, detail-packed oil paintings.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 6, 2021 @ 10am and tune-in for another episode of “Story Time at the Museum” with Cheryl Engel reading “Sadie the Kitchen Dog.”
