The Museum of Ventura County was privileged to host An Evening of Song & Stories with Chris Hillman on Thursday, January 24, 2019, in support of the exhibit “Chris Hillman: Time Between”. Joined by Herb Pederson, Chris Hillman performed music spanning his career and shared stories from his early childhood to picking up the mandolin to the signing of the Byrds thanks to jazz legend Miles Davis.
In this clip, Chris Hillman and Herb Pederson perform “Sin City,” a song that Chris wrote with Graham Parsons in 1969 about the culture of Las Vegas — or some refer to it, Sin City.
