Kyle Thille of Ventura Coast Brew Company

Kyle Thille of Ventura Coast Brew Company will be the featured speaker, Tuesday, July 10, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Agriculture Museum of Ventura County.

The birthplace of the craft beer movement, California boasts over 900 breweries, making it home to more breweries than any other state. Kyle will share the history of craft beer in California and the Ventura County area, as well as his experiences establishing and operating a flourishing brewery in downtown Ventura.

A native of Ventura County and a graduate of Ventura High School, Kyle discovered his love of beer making while attending a class at the University of California, Davis’ prestigious brewing program. He graduated from Davis with a degree in Computer Sciences, yet he could not shake his desire to be part of the craft beer culture. Returning home, Kyle set out to open his own brewery where he could focus on high quality beer styles that appeal to craft beer novices and experts alike. In 2016, Ventura Coast Brew Company opened its doors and continues to push creative trends in brewing.

Cost: Free with general admission; Members free.

The Agriculture Museum of Ventura County is located at 926 Railroad Ave, Santa Paula. For more information call (805) 525-3100 or email agriculture@Venturamuseum.org.
