Bird Banding experts teach museum visitors about this field science method used to study resident and migratory birds.
Join us at the Agriculture Museum for Free First Sunday on March 3, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Learn about bird banding, the field science method used to track and study birds, and how this contributes to ongoing research about avian species in our region. Treat the entire family to a fun and engaging afternoon with a hands-on interactive activity and a discussion with bird banding experts Allen Saute and Walter Sakai.

Take advantage of the Museum’s selfie opportunity and compare yourself to the world’s tallest and smallest birds featuring life-sized paintings by Ventura Artist, MB Hanrahan.
