Festival: Turtle Day!
Join us from 11am-5pm for a day of turtle-filled fun. Start your day by exploring museum galleries with a museum-wide scavenger hunt. Stop by the birthday party for Myrtle the Museum Turtle, who is turning 6! Come meet our favorite leisurely guest, a live tortoise named Tut, then scoot over to our dress up station and try on fun costumes. Turtle Day is a world-wide event that honors and promotes the protection of turtles and tortoises and their disappearing habitats around the world.
