The Crime of the Century: An Inside Look at the Manson Murders – Journalist Ivor Davis visited the Manson family at the Spahn ranch prior to the murder spree of 1969. Not only did he attend every day of the nine-month trial, the District Attorney used Mr. Davis’ book as a blueprint for the prosecution. Joining Ivor is Mark Phillips, an Oak Park attorney who with his daughter, Aryn, co-wrote the book, “Trials of the Century: A Decade by Decade Look at Ten of America’s Most Sensational Crimes,” including the Manson murders. Moderated by Banks Pecht, Vice Chair of the Ventura Cultural Affairs Commission and member of the Museum’s Business Advisory Board. No-host bar.
