“Bugs, Bugs, & More Bugs” Grab Bag Give-Away!

With over 900,000 different types of insects on earth you are likely to run into an insect or two just about anywhere you look. You can find them on every continent, even Antarctica. They inhabit the hottest and coldest climates earth has to offer. They live in our homes, feast in our gardens, crawl the earth, fly the skies, swim the waters, and they have even been to space.

In honor of our creepy-crawlies the Museum of County’s Agriculture Museum in partnership with the California Oil Museum and the Discovery Center for Science and Technology will be giving away “BUG, BUGS & More BUGS!” Grab Bags on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 10am—12pm. Pick-up your FREE, fun-filled insect activities from the convenience of your car in the parking lot adjacent to the Agriculture Museum (see directions below). MVC bug bag learning activities include bug journal, insect madness kit, bug scavenger hunt, butterfly life cycle with pasta, busy bee buddy, and a surprise gift. Fun for the whole family!

Drive ups only please. Social distancing will be observed.

Grab bag drive-thru location and instructions: Give-away tents located in the parking lot in front of Agriculture Museum at 926 Railroad Ave., Santa Paula, CA 93060. Enter the driveway closest to the Mill Street on Railroad Ave and exit at 10th Street driveway. Parking attendant will be on site to help direct traffic.

For questions please feel free to contact agriculture@venturamuseum.org or call us at (805) 525-3100 ext. 101
