Set against the cut-throat but well-heeled world of New York City’s private preschool admissions, Tribeca is a satire that follows one couple as they vie to get their toddler into the most exclusive preschool in Manhattan. Gaining admittance means preserving a spot in America’s 1%. But is the high cost worth the even higher price of admission?

New Art City Theatre, Ventura’s newest professional theatre company, presents their second annual festival of new works, Festival ’25, in the Martin V. And Martha K Smith Pavillion. Watch as a team of professional actors and directors bring to life four brand-new plays by playwrights from across the country, chosen from a field of 258 submissions. There will be two performances (matinee and evening) of a new play each day. See all four over the course of one weekend, June 12-15, 2025.
