Echoes of a Recent Past is a site-specific, long-term temporary art installation by Paul Lindhard in the new outdoor garden behind the Museum of Ventura on E. Santa Clara Street. The sculptures repurpose and reimagine materials that were found and harvested on lots being developed in downtown Ventura. The opening ceremony will include musical performances, a food truck on-site, beer and wine for sale, and a closing ceremony by Chumash representatives.
There will be musical performances by Jason Brock and his band, post-Celtic musician Maya Lumen, and aerial performances by Fly Time Fitness.
Event is free and open to the public, registration is not required.
