Author Bio:
Jeffrey Wayne Maulhardt was born in Oxnard and is a fifth-generation Ventura County descendant of the Maulhardt and Borchard families. Jeffrey’s deep connections to the area helped in his accumulation of images, used to document the city’s history beyond his three previous titles in the Images of America Series: Oxnard: 1867-1940, Oxnard: 1941-2004, and Oxnard Now & Then. Jeffrey Maulhardt taught American History for thirty years in the Oxnard Elementary School District. He is the founder of the Oxnard Historic Farm Park, and his books can be purchased at the Oxnard Historic Farm Park Foundation website.
