Jungleland, USA
Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Jungleland—the tourist attraction that put Thousand Oaks on the map. The park was home to animal stars of the silver screen like Tamba the Chimp and Leo the MGM Lion, and featured Mabel Stark, who the New York Times called, “…one of the most celebrated animal trainers in a field dominated by men.” (2019). Jungleland, USA will travel the winding story of Jungleland and introduce the people and animals who helped shape the city of Thousand Oaks.
