The MVC Agriculture Museum will host this special event in partnership with the Santa Clarita Organization for Planning and the Environment and the Friends of The Santa Clara River to highlight the importance of the Santa Clara River. Through words and pictures, community leaders Lynn Plambeck and Jim Danza will provide an enlightening education about the Santa Clara River. Known as “Ultom” in the Chumash language, the Santa Clara River has shaped the landscape and our community as a whole. Come and get acquainted with this magnificent neighbor, the river next door!
