MVC Community Altar

In celebration of Día de los Muertos, come visit the MVC Community Altar in the Plaza (100 E. Main St., Ventura) now thru Tuesday, November 3, 2020 from 10AM—5PM! Here’s a lil’ sneak peek to inspire a visit.

The Museum of Ventura County invited the community to contribute mementos, photos, drawings, poetry, and other items to the community altar in the week leading up to its unveiling.

Community members who plan on creating altars in their homes are encouraged to submit images to submissions@venturamuseum.org. The Museum will share these images on the Museum’s website and various social media platforms. You can also use the hashtag #MVCDDLM2020 when posting your own photos on Facebook and Instagram.
