Behind the Scenes in Hollywood with Ivor Davis: “Bobby”

The Museum of Ventura County is thrilled to invite MVC Members to join Ventura County Author and New York Times Syndicate Showbiz writer Mr. Ivor Davis for “Behind the Scenes in Hollywood,” a Zoom Conversation on Thursday, September 24, 2020 @ 6:30 PM. Mr. Davis will take viewers on a personal and intimate journey deep into the lives of these legends, and share secret stories with Museum members.

On Thursday, September 24, 2020 @ 6:30 PM, Mr. Davis will discuss “Bobby,” Emilio Estevez’s 2006 film that follows the assassination of U.S. Senator Robert F. Kennedy, who was shot in the early morning hours of June 5, 1968 in the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Davis was with Bobby Kennedy on his presidential campaign in 1968–and in the kitchen when Kennedy was assassinated.

*** Please note that this event is solely a Zoom Discussion about the film with Mr. Ivor Davis. Viewers will not be watching the film during the Zoom Discussion. Viewers are encouraged to watch “Bobby” before the event. You can rent “Bobby” on Amazon Prime for $3.99 or VUDU for $2.99.

This is the second in a series of “Behind the Scenes in Hollywood” Zoom Conversations with Mr. Ivor Davis. RSVP information will be available in the coming weeks for the film “Bobby” on September 24, 2020 and the film “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” on October 22, 2020.

Behind the Scenes in Hollywood with Ivor Davis: Bobby” is brought to you in part by the generous support of Wagner Financial.
