SOLD OUT – Behind the Scenes in Hollywood with Ivor Davis: “A Hard Day’s Night”

The Museum of Ventura County is thrilled to invite MVC Members to join Ventura County Author and New York Times Syndicate Showbiz writer Mr. Ivor Davis for “Behind the Scenes in Hollywood,” a Zoom Conversation on August 27, 2020 @ 6:30 PM. Mr. Davis will take viewers on a personal and intimate journey deep into the lives of these legends, and share secret stories with Museum members.

On August 27, 2020 @ 6:30 PM, Mr. Ivor Davis will discuss The Beatles film “A Hard Day’s Night.” Mr. Davis traveled with The Beatles on their first North American Tour in 1964 and was George Harrison’s ghost writer. “A Hard Day’s Night” covers two ‘typical’ days in the life of The Beatles as the boys struggle to keep themselves and Sir Pal McCartney’s mischievous grandfather in check while preparing for a live television performance.

MVC Members can RSVP here!

*** Please note that this event is solely a Zoom Discussion about the film with Mr. Ivor Davis. Viewers will not be watching the film during the Zoom Discussion. Viewers are encouraged to watch “A Hard Day’s Night” before the event. You can rent “A Hard Day’s Night” on Amazon Prime for $2.99 —$3.99.

This is the first in a series of “Behind the Scenes in Hollywood” Zoom Conversations with Mr. Ivor Davis. RSVP information will be available in the coming weeks for the film “Bobby” on September 24, 2020 and the film “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” on October 22, 2020.
