The Summer Concert Series at the Ag Museum continues with SolTree on Friday, August 2, 2019! SolTree is an upbeat, energetic group with strong and flowing grooves. They are firmly built upon original music and embrace creative, colorful improvisation that could be described as “prohibition reggae with threads of jazz and rock”. Admission is $5 for Museum members and children under 18, $10 for nonmembers. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.
With influences of Bob Marley, Billy Holiday, fused with jazzy rock, SolTree will be sure to take you on a melodic and vibrant musical journey. Guitarist, Jermaine Jackson loves exploring new places, as he has done on the popular survival show Naked and Afraid and continues to do every time through his solos. He’s getting ready to go on Naked and Afraid for a second time.
Not only a passionate drummer, but Aaron Winters thrives in SolTree bringing his creativity and improv skills. Chris Olsen, the bass man, is a superbly accomplished musician with a great sense of humor.
The lead singer and songwriter, Anne Hall is driven, enthusiastic, and her smooth melodic tones fill the songs with depth and intrigue. Andre Ahern-Jackson brings her soulful smooth back up vocals while playing the Fender Rhodes.
The one and only Noah Thomas, has dedicated his life to music and always shines with his outstanding improv skills and melodic lines.
