Design Your Own Comic Book – Free First Sunday
Join the Museum, 100 E. Main Street, Ventura, for a creative Free First Sunday, June 3, where museum-goers have fun designing their own comic books. There’s plenty of inspiration in the galleries with our current exhibit, Black and White and Read All Over. We’ll also be creating Thaumatropes, an optical toy that was popular in the 19th century. Activities will take place from 12 to 2 pm. Museum admission is free all day, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sponsored by Museum donor Mimi Allin and TOLD Corporation.
