Join us March 4 for our Free First Sunday Day of Rocks at the Agriculture Museum in Historic Santa Paula. There will be Rock activities from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. including:
Rock painting station – create your own unique designed rock that you can take home or hide at your local park/ community gathering spot.
Rock hunting for kids in our gated garden. Weather permitting.
Rock and mineral identification–learn to identify the earth’s igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks under the Microscope.
Rock porosity testing station–learn about rock porosity using water and scales.
Come join the fun this Sunday! Admission and activities are free. Museum is open: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
