The Museum of Ventura County (MVC) is excited to announce its 2025 Visual Arts Scholarships – a total of $20,000 to give to gifted students who want to work in the visual arts!
This year, MVC is very proud to present a new scholarship. The Gail Faulkner Memorial Arts Scholarship honors the beloved Ventura County watercolor artist. Students who apply will be considered for both the Gail Faulkner Memorial Arts Scholarship and the Bonita C. McFarland Scholarship for the Visual Arts, which MVC has been giving out for several years. The goal of these scholarships is to support future artists and continue to grow the visual arts in Ventura County.
Interested students should submit a full application on the Museum of Ventura County website. Be sure to complete all the parts because incomplete applications will not be considered. Winners will be chosen based on artistic quality, creativity, and how committed they are to their craft as shown in their application.
