On display through Sept. 10, the exhibit features objects and photographs from the local community and the museum’s collection of educational artifacts. It also showcases items on loan, including school uniforms, trophies and report cards.
“It recalls the past history of schools in Ventura County and makes people recall their days in school, friends, sports,” said Anna Bermudez, curator of the Back to School Exhibit. “Everyone’s school experience was different but there was always something memorable.”
