Ed’s art has been recognized by many publications, including features in The Complete Painter’s Handbook, PleinAir Magazine, Artist Daily, Outdoor Painter, Palo Alto Weekly, and a cover story in American Artist Magazine, the largest artist’s magazine in the United States. He has won numerous awards, particularly for his plein air landscape and seascape work. Ed has participated in more than 80 exhibitions and his works are in collections such as: the Forbes Family Gallery (in NYC), the County of San Mateo, and the Australian Consulate of San Francisco. He is on the artist’s advisory board of PleinAir Magazine (the leading outdoor painting publication), as well as the Buenaventura Artists Association (BAA) in Ventura. Ed can often be found roaming his dual hometowns of Ventura and San Francisco, sketching the people and places of these beautiful cities.
