DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special afternoon in the garden with musician and educator Martin Espino. \nIn this interactive play date\, Martin will guide participants through easy-to-sing songs in native languages while introducing a wide range of ancestral percussion instruments. Drawing from traditions across North\, Central\, and South America\, he blends music\, storytelling\, and cultural history into an engaging\, hands-on experience for all ages. \nMartin Espino is a teacher of ancient music and songs of the Americas and a multi-instrumentalist specializing in ancestral instruments. His work explores the connections between music\, culture\, and community through storytelling and shared participation. \nThis project is supported by VibeWell Ventura County\, a collaborative initiative between County of Ventura Arts and Culture and Ventura County Behavioral Health. Funding is provided through Mental Health Services Act Prevention and Early Intervention funds. \nThis FREE event offers an engaging afternoon of discovery and exploration for young learners and their families.
