New exhibit in Ventura offers food for thought
Food — what we eat, with whom we eat it and our memories of it — creates a meal in itself at the Museum of Ventura County, where “At Table: The Business of Food and Community” is on display through Nov. 25.

“Food is a big thing for me and always has been,” said Anna Bermudez, the museum’s curator, whose earliest food memory is from age 4: a fresh green salad with tomatoes, a perfectly cooked steak and homemade crinkle-cut potato fries.
