The “Ayer y Todavia” art catalog documents the exhibit of the same name, which in fall 2017 brought together dozens of works by local and regional Mexican-American artists, including pioneering Chicano creatives Carlos Almaraz and Frank Romero.
The exhibit’s curator, Anna Bermudez, said the catalog took longer to make than expected, largely because of interruption caused by the Thomas Fire and the death of the publication’s graphic artist, Francis Boross, partway through the project.
Agriculture Museum will also be closed April 5-6.
