DESCRIPTION:Join us for La Cultura Cura: Healing Through Art and Music\, an afternoon of live performances\, art\, and community. \nThe event features mariachi and folklórico dance by Inlakech Cultura Arts Center\, poetry by Jesus Noyola\, and songs shared by the Hummingbird Women’s Drum. A healing circle led by Sara Mijares of Mundo Maya will also be offered. Jaime Vega will be conducting the Aztec Sunstone “Birthdate Readings” in the garden. \nEnjoy art vendors\, hands-on activities for kids\, and community partners including the Ventura County Mobile Library and Art Trek. This event is presented in partnership with the Port of Hueneme\, De Colores Multicultural Folk Art\, and Ventura County Behavioral Health. \nThis is a FREE event. Bring a friend and join us!
